How can I find a job working for a Goodwill?

Can Goodwill provide me with clothes or household items?
Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. is a workforce development agency. The sale of your donations fund our Mission, including employment of nearly 200 individuals in our service area. Through our Community Support Program we are sometimes able to provide clothing or household items to individuals on a case-by-case basis. Can Goodwill provide me with financial assistance?
Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. is a workforce development agency. All revenue from the sale of donated goods goes toward our job training programs and services, so while we are not able to provide financial assistance to individuals, we may be able to refer you to another program that can. Is Goodwill a non-profit organization?
Yes, Goodwill is a registered 501(c)3 organization. Any donations made to Goodwill are tax-deductible in accordance with IRS guidelines. Financial contributions and proceeds from the sale of donated goods go to support local career development programs that help those in our community in need.
Who does Goodwill help?
Goodwill builds pathways to help individuals pursue their goals through employment, career development and community support programs.
Are all Goodwill organizations the same?
No. Goodwill Industries of the Berkshires and Southern Vermont, Inc. is run by its own executive team and volunteer board of directors. Goodwill organizations across the U.S. and internationally are run individually, but share best practices and other resources in some cases. This enables each Goodwill to tailor its outreach and community programs according to the unique needs of its community. Though we are not able to guarantee a job if you enroll in our programs, we can guarantee that there will be opportunities for jobs. Once enrolled in our programs, we will train you and provide you with all the tools you need to become the best qualified candidate for job opportunities.
